Ballistics: test A-91 at 300 metres

Suppose you expect a 300 m engagement with an unarmored target. In Ballistics, choose the A-91, its offered 5.56mm round and 300 under Range. The model shows 30.8 upper-torso damage, four shots and 0.677 seconds to kill at that range. This is a fixed target calculation, so change the range or protection before carrying the number into another situation.

A-91 ballistic result at 300 metres with damage curve and shot count

At 300 m, the selected upper-torso result is 30.8 damage and four modeled shots.

Set the shot you expect

The left controls hold the weapon, its compatible ammunition, exact range, helmet and body armor. Use the offered round; matching calibre text alone does not prove a round belongs to the selected weapon. The range marker on the graph shows where the 300 m result sits on the damage curve.

The example uses the A-91, 5.56mm and an exact 300 m range.

Read more than the headline number

In the same scenario, the Head row gives 65.8 damage, two shots and 0.505 seconds. The upper torso still needs four shots. This difference comes from hit location, even with the same weapon and round. Use Hit zones when your likely impact point changes, then try armor and helmet values that match the target you expect.

Head and upper torso require different shot counts under the same 300 m setup.

The time includes constant-velocity flight. Missed shots, reloads, movement and changing protection are outside it. Weapon comparison places alternatives against the same target; damage curves show distance changes. Copy link keeps the chosen scenario, while Build a loadout carries the weapon into a kit.
